Concord Music Group is looking to hire an International Sales and Marketing Manager
Position Purpose:
To oversee new releases from Concord Music Group's frontline labels and catalogue repertoire. Working in conjunction with the internal Sales & Marketing departments, as well as our International distribution partners and consultants to build and develop international marketing plans providing vital marketing information and assets.
Core Responsibilities:
1- Project manage new releases from front-line labels, as well as new releases and reissues for Concord's catalogue group.
a. Build & develop international marketing plans for each release with our distribution partners and consultants.
b. Working closely with Concord's internal Sales & Marketing staff , coordinate and communicate vital marketing information and
related assets.
c. Coordinate promotion for artists - set up phone interviews and help compile in market promo schedules.
d. Interact with domestic production department to insure all releases are set up properly within our systems.
2- Help ensure that all new media tools created within the company and by artist management represent the global perspective.
a. Coordinating Global press releases, buy links, streaming playlist curation & placement.
3- Oversee marketing projection and spend reports for projects.
a. Interacting with the International Sales & Marketing Coordinator and Finance Department to update sales and budget information.
b. Professional working knowledge of Excel required.
4- Send out weekly sales & marketing reports to internal staff and externally to our distribution partners, artist management, and more.
Requirements:
• College degree (BA or BS)
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position within music industry or music agency
• Experience of liaising effectively with both Managers and Artists.
• Excellent computer skills a must, including a professional working knowledge of Excel
• Strong organizational and written communication skills
• Problem-solving, ability to prioritize, and self-motivated
• Strong interest in digital marketing - constantly keeping up with new initiatives in this space
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work well within a team
• The ability to learn quickly and adapt to the changing market.
• Passion for and knowledge of music, pop culture and media trends
• General agreement and acceptance of the Company's core values
