Associate Producer, Digital Video
Global digital video startup Commercialize TV is seeking a passionate, driven, dedicated junior online video Associate Producer - a highly organized, energetic all-rounder with a passion for video and a ''can do'' attitude. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the formative team building an exciting startup with a vision to become the world's preeminent video hub, with a particular focus on Asia (especially distribution in China). We're looking for an ambitious self-starter who can help grow, manage and distribute video content throughout diverse digital platforms globally. The current content focus is on two key pillars - Fashion & Action/Adventure. A love of and passion for one or both pillars is an advantage.
Background:
• A deep, demonstrated understanding of Online Video, Social Media and Video Production
• Highly organized with keen attention to detail
• Excellent organization demonstrated by ability to effectively manage day-to-day tasks while simultaneously forward planning for larger events or content opportunities
• Experience in programming digital content
• Strong technical knowledge & demonstrated trouble shooting ability
• Experience in video platforms
• Knowledge of video production processes and programs (including Final Cut Pro)
• Superb verbal and written communication skills
• An ability to analyze, interpret and report data
• Demonstrated understanding of digital culture, of diverse online audience and what content best engages different global audiences
• Demonstrated understanding of how to best drive video views & engagement
Responsibilities:
• Work with the Video Channel Manager to help execute strategies to grow YouTube and other key global channels - both CTV's and managed channels/networks
• Assist with monthly content briefs for YouTube talent under management
• Take responsibility for monitoring YouTube talent scheduling
• Work with the Video Programming Manager to help effectively program content for CTV's networks in China, including screening and organizing digital clips and photography
• Assist with social media research and posts
• Assist team with executing and coordinating a regular social media calendar
• Upload and organize footage to edit
• Manage and co-ordinate content and production scheduling for regular and 'tent-pole' planning
• Assist in audience research and insights building, creating a bank of reference material to help with content creation, promotion and programming
• Coordinate scheduling with editors, talents etc
• Assist with reporting and analyzing performance of content throughout the CTV networks
Skills & Experience & Attitudes:
• 2+ in an agency or media company
• Must be entrepreneurial and the have the ability to work autonomously and as a part of a diverse global team
• Flexibility, tenacity, positive attitude and ability to think outside the box at all times are essential
• Passionate about online video and social media
• Highly organized
• Strong project management skills
• Data and technical orientation
