The Project Manager of On- and Off-Channel video serves as the primary liaison between the Brand Creative department and its internal clients. The Project Manager’s key responsibilities include overseeing production of all Brand Creative video requests, managing budgets and schedules, as well as internal and external vendor relations.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee delivery of Brand Creative projects, including linear promos, Brand Marketing cross-channel promotions, multiplatform content and sales/internal presentation reels.
• Work with the creative team to develop the most appropriate and effective materials to meet brand objectives. Gather project assets (source materials, deliverables, spec sheets, etc.) and distribute to team members when appropriate.
• Develop and manage rollout schedules from creative inception to final delivery. Create and maintain various project communications (status reports, calendars, grids and JIRA tickets).
• Oversee and facilitate all production-related communication between on-air creative and production executives, producers, clients and other Comedy Central departmental management teams.
• Schedule project kick off meetings, weekly project meetings and post-project de-briefing meetings. Communicate next steps when necessary post-meeting.
• Create project estimates and update budget sheets weekly. Create and confirm PO’s and approve invoices and timesheets as needed. Pull cost reports to confirm that expenses are actualized and follow up on discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Source new vendors when needed and maintain relationships with current vendors.
• Negotiate the best rates for jobs and create deal memos for contracts.
• Troubleshoot situations that occur during project development and production.
• Route creative to internal staff, department heads, clients and legal/standards for approval and feedback.
• Inspect and review projects during all phases of production to guarantee that the quality of the final products adhere to network standards
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree and five-plus years account executive/administrative and/or project management experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required
• Five-plus years account executive/administrative and/or project management experience
Additional Qualifications
• Self-starter who is highly organized and able to take direction.
• Must have the ability to work well under pressure and handle numerous projects simultaneously.
• Must also be able to work independently. Must be detail-oriented and have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be willing to learn and adapt to new systems.
