Comedy Central is seeking a Development Assistant to support the VP, Talent & Development and the VP, Branded Entertainment and Development. Specific responsibilities include:
• Manage VP’s calendars
• Handle all incoming calls
• Draft deal memos
• Prepare expense reports
• Maintain tracking grids of talent Comedy Central works with
• Coverage of all submissions
• Provide feedback on projects in development and/or production
• Scout talent at stand-up, sketch and improv venues in NY
Basic Qualifications
• 1-2 years of administrative experience; television studio, network or talent agency experience preferred
• Excellent PC skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
Additional Qualifications
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
• Good organizational and follow-up skills
• Bachelor's degree preferred
