COMEDIVA is a brand new web production company specializing in female-driven comedy. We've built a wickedly funny website -- a one-stop shop for a girl to get her giggle on -- and we want you to help us seize comedic world domination as our oh-so-valued slave (okay, okay, intern). Prefer to be a creative genius rather than a coffee wrangler? Sweet! You've found your shangri-la. Summer interns will have the opportunity to write original content for our site.
We're looking for gals with the following junk in their trunks:
-- A love for social media and blogging
-- Sincere interest in web video content, written web content and comedy
-- Remarkable creativity and a unique perspective
-- Badass internet research skills
-- Writing skills that would make Jane Austen jealous
-- Verbal skills that would make Oprah jealous
-- An affinity for Easy Mac and red velvet cupcakes
-- A ton of initiative
-- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
-- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-- Outgoing personality, positive attitude and an awesome sense of humor
-- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
-- Eligible for academic credit and at least 18 years of age
Editorial/social media interns will work out of our Burbank, Calif. offices and report to the VP of Editorial Content. We're flexible, but ideally interns will work two days a week, between Mon-Fri, during regular business hours (10a - 7p). This is an unpaid internship, for academic credit only. COMEDIVA is a fast-growing company, so impress us, and who knows? You might find a place on our team one day.
P.S. Comediva is an equal opportunity employer. If you're a dude and you think you can meet the challenge, go ahead and apply -- we dare you.
