We are looking for a video editor, with experience in color grading, to join our creative production team. We specialize in video, web and mobile for the advertising, marketing and entertainment industries.
We handle all aspects of Post production from Transcoding raw footage, to Line-up, organizing files, syncing audio, Editorial, Color grading, beauty Clean-up, Sound Design, VFX, QC Check, and Delivery.
REQUIREMENTS:
This person must be highly organized, with attention to detail, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple projects with tight deadlines.
He / She must be able to operate with varying degrees of supervision: taking independent initiative to problem-solve and troubleshoot, while remaining flexible to collaboration with directors, producers, and other team members.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, FCP, AVID, and Adobe Creative Suite programs is preferred.
- Experience in motion graphics, compositing in After Effects and basic Color Grading (knowledge of DaVinci Resolve is a plus!).
- Knowledge of HD formats and compressions.
- Knowledge of current post-production industry-standard workflows and organization.
- Minimum of 2+ years industry experience in online/color/delivery.
- Must be able to work after hours and weekends when necessary.
DUTIES include, but not limited to:
- Assemble recorded, raw material into a finished product that's suitable for broadcasting and marketing elements, on and offline.
- Assemble and maintain all raw footage.
- Create ''rough cuts''(or assembly edit) of the film for presentation to client's.
- Ability to constructively receive and address creative feedback; adjusting the rough cut as necessary to meet client expectations.
- Reorder or tweak content as necessary to ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the film/video.
- Compress and upload videos for delivery.
- Troubleshoot technical problems.
- Update and organize footage, generate reviewable files, and handle final deliveries of necessary formats with or without the aid of an assistant editor.
PLUSES:
- Knowledge of broadcast quality specifications and video/audio specs and requirements for broadcast.
- Digital shooting and workflow experience.
- Interest and knowledge in youth, lifestyle, and enthusiast content.
