Position Overview
As a member of the Clear Channel Outdoor Sales Operations Team, the individual will have a key role in executing sales strategies and growth initiatives for North American sales. The position will report to Director, Sales Operations and will contribute to operational improvements and financial effectiveness of the organization while driving productivity of our 500-person sales team across the country.
Required Skills
•Define and perform data analysis using Excel, Access, and/or SQL to provide insights and identify opportunities for improvement and further analysis.
•Analyze business requirements and provide solutions using operational reports, scorecards, dashboards, and other reporting solutions through sales systems.
•Implement and ensure business analytics are accurately represented across multiple sales channels and offices. Build validations for data and standard procedures to manage and monitor usage to accurately represent sales.
•Identify, document, propose and implement new business process and systems improvements and sales reporting capabilities that support a multi-faceted sales organization with actionable analytics.
•Create executive documents to effectively communicate analysis and strategic recommendations for long-term project implementation. Build and present quantitative analysis models to support business decisions.
•Support gathering system requirements, defining enhancements, testing and implementing new systems and processes for various departments including Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations.
•Provide user support for systems/processes, including ad hoc analysis for management.
Required Experience
•BA/BS in Business, Economics, MIS, Statistics, or related field
•3-5 years minimum relevant experience in Sales Operations, e-Commerce, MIS/BI or similar field
•Prior experience with Media/Ad or B2B sales processes preferred
•Prior experience as a Data, Systems, and/or Business Analyst preferred
•Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
•Access, SQL, or equivalent query-building experience preferred, VBA a plus
•Good understanding of quantitative analysis techniques, including: descriptive statistics; hypothesis testing; regression analysis; modeling and optimization
•Familiar with Salesforce.com or competitive CRM systems, especially regarding design of reports and dashboards
•Possesses customer-focus, attention to detail, enthusiasm for research, creativity in problem-solving
•Able to work independently and as part of a team, balance changing priorities
•Some travel is expected for this position
