Position Summary
Cinedigm is looking for a talented, highly motivated individual with strong data analysis skills and strategic thinking to join its Financial Planning and Analysis team in its Century City office. This individual will act as the liaison between revenue generating departments and accounting/corporate finance. The primary objective is to generate analysis and reporting that will increase sales and profits, while assisting business forecasting with data integrity and market impacts.
This team member works closely with internal clients, including Physical/Digital Film and TV Sales, as well as provide reporting and analysis to external clients, such as content providers and physical and digital accounts.
Responsibilities/Duties
• Liaison between internal revenue generators and corporate finance
• Perform quantitative analysis to provide insights and actionable recommendations
• Provide forecast support on quarterly basis
• Consolidate annual plan to contribution margin
• Provide critical management reports to Cinedigm senior executive team
• Furnish bottom-up sales and contribution margins to the accounting and corporate finance teams
• Report quantitative and qualitative monthly variance analysis to plan and forecast
Minimum Qualifications
• Ability to convey analytic findings into strategic implications and actionable recommendations
• Hands-on analysis and strategic thinking ability
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Knowledge of transactional databases is desired
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional communication skills - oral and written
• Must be able to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, subject matter experts, and other team members
Education and Experience
• Must possess 3-3 years experience in data analytics or related field
• Must possess bachelor's degree in business, economics, mathematics, statistics, or related quantitative field
• Experience in home entertainment, cable, broadcast, and/or film/television industry a plus
