Chain Camera Pictures, the Academy Award nominated and Emmy Award winning production company that made The Invisible War and The Hunting Ground, is seeking an Office Manager / Second Assistant to the company co-founders. Duties consist of managing the daily operation of the production office, maintaining schedules, managing social media channels, and handling travel arrangements. Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Google applications. Must be extremely detail oriented; able to manage complex schedules and heavy email workload; and fit our criteria outlined below.
Responsibilities include:
• Coordinating calls, meetings and appointments
• Answering phones
• Participating in strategy calls / taking notes
• Managing calendar entries and reminders
• Assisting with travel and accommodation bookings for film shoots / appearances
• Overseeing our office interns
• Maintaining office organization and upkeep
• Managing lunch budget and orders
• Performing vital research based tasks for active projects
• Completing personal tasks where applicable
• Approving and scheduling posts for our social media channels
The ideal candidate will:
• 1-2 year commitment
• Have minimum 1 year of related experience
• Hold excellent administrative and organizational skills
• Be able to manage complex schedules and heavy email workload
• Possess a professional demeanor and meticulous attention to detail
• Have a ''no task too small'' attitude
• Be a passionate, dedicated hard-worker
• Possess strong multitasking abilities
• Have experience managing office finances and budgets
• Have a strong interest in the documentary field
