Independent Heavy Metal/Hard Rock record label seeks an assist for the New Media Dept.
Assist the New Media dept with routine maintenance on network of websites, play an integral role in the marketing of artists and tours in the online domain, and assist the promotions team with backend tools necessary for daily marketing.
Responsibilities:
1. New Media Marketing (Creative):
•Stay informed/aware of current trending – finger on the pulse of “what’s hot” in social media, create media sent directly to fans, work with artists/marketing team on special projects, and directly contributing to tour and album marketing of the roster of Century Media Artists as well as our other labels within the Century Family.
2. New Media/Publicity Maintenance (Non-Creative):
• Keeping information, links, images, etc up-to-date on internal networks, keeping the department resources current, etc
3. Routine Maintenance for Online Network (Non-Creative):
• Keeping information, links, images, etc up-to-date on all public sites, selected artist sites and more.
Computer Literacy / Software:
Basic HTML/CSS
FTPs
Adobe Photoshop Suite
Internet
Social Networking Sites (major ones)
Microsoft Office Suite
Education/Training
Bachelors Degree Preferred
Experience
Need sufficient familiarity and use of the aforementioned “Computer Literacy / Software” skills and be able to provide examples of projects created using these skills. Be familiar with social networking sites and basic marketing. |
