Account Sales Associate
Responsibilities
1. Work with the Account Sales Manager and Marketing Department to identify, prioritize and target appropriate corporate/group sales leads from CTG’s database of 300,000 customers as well as outside leads.
2. Build presentations for Account Sales Department that showcase the advantages of a business relationship with CTG.
3. Service corporate and group clients by being a point of reference for CTG events and ticketing.
4. Monitor customer relationship progress using CTG’s Tessitura system and cultivate further opportunities for optimal sales performance and departmental growth.
5. Work with box office and phone sales staff to ensure proper distribution of tickets/information to account sales customers.
6. Assist in planning and executing small to large scale events for appropriate customers.
7. Differentiate CTG from competitors by knowing the customer better and developing solutions based on this knowledge.
8. Researches and resolves customer escalations, monitor trends, and work closely with Account Sales Manager, team members, and other departments to determine solutions and apply process improvements.
9. Engage in out-of-office sales activity designed to establish and maximize relationships with key targets as well as promote the department’s offerings in the community.
10. Assure all Company and functional policies as well as standard operating procedures are adhered to.
11. Learn and master Tessitura ticketing system as it relates to sales processes and emerging opportunities; assist with operations on required upgrades.
12. Track and maintain detailed sales history for all CTG account sales clients; generate reports as necessary/appropriate.
13. Identify under-developed sales opportunities and develop service mechanisms for maximizing their potential.
14. Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
15. Work with other Music Center constituents to broaden and enhance product offerings.

Qualifications
1. The Account Sales Associate must have demonstrated a proven track record of at least 1-3 years sales experience, preferably in an entertainment, attractions or travel & tourism setting.
2. He/she will have 1-2 years of a proven track record of success working with both B-to-B and B-to-C buyers.
3. He/she must be comfortable cold-calling potential clients as well as developing new leads.
4. He/she will have a functional knowledge of event ticketing and a basic understanding of its structure.
5. He/she will have extensive knowledge of the complete suite of Microsoft Office applications as well at Outlook.
6. He/she will be familiar with internet research in order to develop new leads and discover new categories of clients.
7. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, outgoing, personable, enthusiastic and able to generate bottom-line results.
8. All candidates must have a professional, polished, positive demeanor on the phone and in-person and must possess a strong desire to succeed.
9. Ability to speak and write English clearly and professionally.
