Reporting to the President, the Tour Director is responsible for all the operations of the tour and for supervising all the department directors and managers on tour.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• In collaboration with the finance team, create and monitor operation budgets for all departments on tour;
• Plan and supervise of all operations on tour;
• Enforce Tour Policies and Code of Conduct;
• Coordinate and ensure the effectiveness of staff meetings;
• Represent the company on tour;
• Manage and maintain all tour equipment (short, mid and long term planning, set up and security);
• Oversee the implementation and application of the on-site emergency measures plan;
• Responsible for all personnel on tour;
• Assure that the deadlines and budgets of the tour are respected;
• Participates in the executive committee of the company;
• Allow all touring expenses within procedures and budget issued by the company;
• Sees to optimize the satisfaction of the public and the relationship with customers;
• Oversee the operations between each city;
• Work to improve the revenues generated by the show and other incomes on tour;
• Ensures respect and well-being of horses;
• Sees respect and enforcement of laws and regulations in the cities visited;
• Ensures high quality of the shows.
REQUIREMENTS
• 8 years of experience in entertainment, project management or in a similar position;
• Experience in management;
• Experience of negotiation and issuing contracts;
• Experience managing significant project (budgets and schedules);
• Experience with municipal permitting procedures;
• Bilingual both written and speaking (French and English) is an asset;
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office suite;
• Proven strong interpersonal, organizational and administrative skills;
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively;
• Interested in touring full-time with the show and authorized to travel and work in foreign countries.
