Marketing/Sales Associate for Eventertainment Company
PART TIME- 1 day per week or flexible hours based on what fits into your schedule. Make your own hours!
LOCATION- Our main office is in the SF Bay Area but we are looking for someone to spearhead promotion efforts in LA for our newly formed branch down there.
COMMISSION BASED-
IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills via phone, email, and face-to-face
- Strong follow-up and organizational skills
- A minimum 1 year marketing or Sales, assistant position, or related experience
- B.A. or solid background in marketing, business, communications or related field a bonus
- Proven project and time management skills and be self-directed
- Be personable, presentable, and articulate.
- Computer proficient with Microsoft Office Suite & savvy with Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) to leverage business.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Copyedit, proofread, and revise email communications.
- Manage Southern California client & targets lists
- Implement email marketing campaigns.
- Building relationships with clients and working to expand client list, pitching our talent to targets, and maintaining relationships to ensure retention.
- Promote products and services through occasional public relations initiatives.
- Some post event follow up including: creating post event reports, searching for post event media mentions, etc
NOTES-
We have a targeted list of nearly 400 event planners & companies for you to work with.
We have a handful of very desireable entertainment products that are mid-priced but geared towards the higher end events market.
We have great success in the Bay Area and with some 'watering of the garden' down in LA we know it can be a success there as well. If you have a flexible schedule you can spend a few hours per week on this and collect commissions.
* In addition to earning your commission on any booking that comes in because of your work (likely 20% to start with)
You will have the option to become an on site manger for events you book. Event managers get $40 hr on site & $20 hr travel.
