The Data Entry Operator enters and verifies payroll for shows processed in the designated office. The Operator is expected to demonstrate accurate keying functions in a timely manner, reviewing reports to verify accuracy of payroll, unions and totals based on the timecards. Operator is also expected to enter in accurate employee maintenance, deals, unions/guilds based on the information provided by the client and Payroll Coordinator. The Operator will also assist the Payroll Coordinator by organizing timecards in either alphabetical or union order to facilitate timecard entry.
Essential Functions
.
• Employee Maintenance entry/modification from Start/Close forms .
• Proficient knowledge and utilization of payroll database system. Should be familiar with applicable programs: tcent, ckinq , timecard editor; and reports: timecard verification policy and procedure.
• Time card entry with attention to hours, pay codes and detailed account codes must be done at an acceptable pace with minimum errors
• Verify data entered by using tcver or fringe
• Setting up deal memos by using employee program
• Supporting Payroll Coordinators with organizing and sorting paperwork
• Performs other related duties and assignments as assigned
• Assists Payroll Coordinators with filing
Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficient, accurate, and timely data entry skills Minimum of 6 months general Data Entry experience.
• Must exhibit sense of urgency with regard to client servicing
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent PC skills
• Flexibility to shift priorities as needed to service the team's clients
• Must work well in a small office environment
• Schedule must be flexible to accommodate workload and client needs.
