Cashmere Agency, a leader in cross-cultural strategic marketing, is looking for an energetic Business Development Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of initiative, a desire to engage in sales, and be a natural and independent problem-solver. The Business Development Coordinator provides direct support to the VP of Business Development. This may include drafting of correspondence, coordinating and scheduling meetings, and completing all paper necessary to facilitate business. The Business Development Coordinator also provides support to all Principals in Business Development, researching and generating sales leads, assisting in the creation of strong pitch materials, and any ancillary duties required for the group to be successful.
COORDINATION
Administrative and personal assistance to the Vice President of Business Development (includes time outside of work hours) includes:
Provide direct support to the Vice President of Business Development
Setting up calls and meetings
Maintaining schedule/calendar
Keeping up and following through with client communication
Educate potential clients on the value of Cashmere's Services
Facilitate communication and correspondence of new business prospects
Maintain and grow existing book of clients
Taking notes during calls and meetings
Coordinating company wide meetings
Sending out emails and notices for general staff announcement
Compiling monthly expense forms
Booking travel
Registration for conferences
This job entails facilitating coordination across all departments in the agency (client services, publicity, business development, visual production); good interpersonal skills are required
All potential candidates must have:
Bachelor's degree required
Strong creative talent and problem-solving skills
Be able to balance high-priority, long-term projects with short-term, immediate deadlines
The ability to anticipate needs
Excellent oral and written communication skills along with presentation skills
Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast paced, rapidly-changing entrepreneurial environment
Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and prioritize, and strong organizational skills required
Knowledgeable about principles and practices of organization, planning and records management
Confidence and skill handling clients in person and on the phone
Excellent proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Drive and Google Docs
High level of confidentiality
Strong written and oral communication skills
Must have a knowledge and passion for all things music (hip hop, R&B, EDM, indie rock)
Strong knowledge of various social media networks
Previous experience in the entertainment industry is a plus
Must have a car
