Cashmere Agency, a leader in cross-cultural strategic marketing, is looking for an energetic Executive Assistant for the Executive Vice President/Chief Creative Officer. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of initiative, and be a natural and independent problem-solver. The Executive Assistant will provide direct support to the Vice President. This may include drafting of correspondence, coordinating and scheduling meetings, and completing all paper necessary to facilitate business. They will also conduct research for various campaigns. This position will also assist in the management and strategy of Cashmere's social networking platforms.
COORDINATION
Administrative and personal assistance to the Vice President (includes time outside of work hours) includes:
• Setting up calls and meetings
• Maintaining schedule/calendar
• Keeping up and following through with client communication
• Constant communication with the VP
• Running errands outside of the office
• Taking notes during calls and meetings
• Putting up job postings and reaching out to potential hires
• Coordinating company wide meetings
• Sending out emails and notices for general staff announcement
• Compiling monthly expense forms
• Booking travel
• Registration for conferences
• Preparing conference room for meetings
• Printing and scanning documents, mailings, and office supply purchasing
• Ensuring that new employees know staff protocol
• This job entails facilitating coordination across all departments in the agency (client services, publicity, business development, visual production); good interpersonal skills are required
SOCIAL MEDIA
• Responsible for managing Cashmere's social networks plus overseeing long and short term social media strategy
• Managing distribution of responsibilities across departments to ensure that social media strategy is being implemented
• Must have a dynamic knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, Vine, Instagram, Wordpress and LinkedIn, plus the ability to predict new trends in social media
• Must be able to grasp the agency's ''voice''
• Basic Photoshop skills & familiarity with HTML is helpful
All potential candidates must have:
• Bachelor's degree required
• Strong creative talent and problem-solving skills
• Be able to balance high-priority, long-term projects with short-term, immediate deadlines
• The ability to anticipate needs
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast paced, rapidly-changing entrepreneurial environment
• Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and prioritize, and strong organizational skills required
• Knowledgeable about principles and practices of organization, planning and records management
• Confidence and skill handling clients in person and on the phone
• Excellent proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Drive and Google Docs
• High level of confidentiality
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Must have a knowledge and passion for all things music (hip hop, R&B, EDM, indie rock)
• Strong knowledge of various social media networks
• Previous experience in the entertainment industry is a plus
• Must have a car
