As the Social Media Director, it is essential to lead and inspire your team to deliver thoughtful, top-quality, work that exceeds our clients' expectations. With an expansive understanding of the social media landscape, your supportive guidance will shape and motivate those around you to do their best work and expand their understanding of how to execute best-in-class social media campaigns in partnership with our clients. An ideal candidate has a proven track record and is eager to share their experience - including how to develop an informed strategy, execute impactful creative and measure success - and can use their knowledge to be a leader, mentor, creative, and immeasurably valuable member of the Cashmere team.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
-Build a Social team that can fulfill the needs of our clients with impactful campaigns
-Establish project policies and guidelines and assure that best practices are being followed
-Plays a lead roll in the business development process and secure new accounts
-Oversee and guide the strategic direction for all social campaigns
-Set the Social marketing strategy and foster client relationships to drive growth of the client's social portfolio
-Plays a lead role in pitches, focusing on strategic recommendations and best practices across social media
-Work closely with creative team on establishing creative direction for social projects
-Educate and mentor Managers and Coordinators, in all of the essential areas of their roles - such as:
-Understanding client and campaign goals
-Implementing the campaign strategy
-Managing client expectations
-Interpreting learnings from data & analyzing
-Maintain effective internal & external communication
-Crafting content calendars
-Provide feedback and approve internal creative briefs
-Foster individual development of staff and defining career path steps for their personal growth and value to the department
-Ensure all social content is in line with creative direction and formats per client notes
-Stay informed of trends and best practices, along with emerging and evolving technologies, that may impact our industry
Required Skills
-Bachelor's Degree required
-5+ Years full-time social media marketing brand management experience
-Experience managing a social team
-Experience implementing and creating process-oriented experience
-Expert skills with existing social media platforms
