We are developing an ambitious supernatural/action web series with plans to film the pilot in mid May, in the Maryland/DC area. Exact shooting dates to be determined.
A well-known director and professional fight choreographer (both with major studio credits) are already attached, along with a noted music video editor.
We are in search of a ''Highly Experienced/Skilled'' DP/Cinematographer with expert lighting and shot composition skills. DP's with feature film and/or television credits are a plus, but we are viewing all reels and anyone can apply.
We're shooting in HD, so our DP will need to have experience using HD cameras of varying levels and models, including the The Red. A DP with his or her own camera package is a huge plus.
Budget: This is an independently produced project, not a studio or network project, so there is no huge budget. This is a project of opportunity, due to our ability to get it in front of people as well as its Internet potential. So if you are looking for huge day rates, this is not the project for you.
However, we are willing to negotiate a reasonable day rate with the right DP and will cover travel and lodging expenses.
We project a 2 to 3 day shoot. |
