CNBC is looking for an energetic, thoughtful and creative Video Producer/Animator to help push the creative boundaries of its Digital Video team. The ideal candidate will have a background in motion graphics and art direction, with a clear sense of the current digital video landscape. This individual will have the ability to prototype concepts in a team environment, while working under aggressive deadlines. It is expected that the candidate can work both individually and collaboratively, utilizing new and innovative production techniques. The ideal candidate can execute all aspects of digital video production including: story concepts and ideas, studio production and editing. The Video Producer/Animator will need a strong editorial voice and will thrive on an emerging and growing team.
Qualifications/Requirements • At least 3 years' experience in visual communication, animation, design or related field
• Demonstrated knowledge of production and digital storytelling
• Strong design skills
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs, familiarity with Cinema 4D
• Photography experience preferred
• Broad knowledge of current events
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication
• Works well in a collaborative environment, as well as individually
• Must be able to lift, carry and transport heavy production equipment on a regular basis
• Must be able to work on-site in New York City
