Responsibilities The Lead Producer will work with creative and production managers to ideate, execute and post-produce an innovative show about personal finance. From the overarching strategic vision, to the day to day on- and off-set operations, the Lead Producer will take ownership for the production's full lifecycle.
He/she will build and maintain relationships with key producers, directors, talent, and production companies, adhering to show budgets and parameters in all stages of production.
He/she will manage, coach, and mentor a small team of shooters, editors, graphic artists, and freelance talent.
Qualifications/Requirements
• 5 years of experience as a multimedia video producer- filming, directing and producing videos at a large digital media company
• Well-versed in filming, editing, graphics, & comfortable leading small teams
• Expertise in conceptualizing & creating compelling digital video content, with a deep understanding of how video can be optimized for social platform distribution
• Previous exposure to day-to-day digital and/or television production operations, including management of financials, resources, & logistical details
• Ability to pitch both topical and evergreen concepts and stories with ease
• Well-versed in Adobe Premiere and After Effects
• Experience with basic field camera operation (DV, DSLR), Avid iNews, and content management systems
