Full Time Job
The Distribution Coordinator role is based within the Distribution Department of CNBC EMEA, reporting to the Distribution Director. The role is responsibe for day to day operations of the Inflight business, driving growth from the inflight market and managing the delivery of assets. It will also support the wider team in delivering schedules to clients, managing an accurate database of subscriber reports and generating monthly reports.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage an accurate database of client subscriber reports and contracts, producing monthly reports and other ad hoc reports for the distribution team as required
• Support Associate Director to co-ordinate music performance rights in some territories for distribution contracts.
• Handle ad hoc distribution projects & administration duties as and when required.
• Distribute programming schedules and updates
• Work with TVD to co-ordinate content available for sale, and deliver assets as required
• Provide marketing support by working with the marketing department to provide updates on special CNBC programming, updates, hospitality events and premiums.
• Co-ordination and delivery of all VOD content to Pay TV operators
• First point of contact for all inflight clients, processing PO's, troubleshooting technical issues, uploading content to screening portal, and ensuring timely delivery of programmes
• Manage the inflight catalogue, ensuring updates are made on a monthly basis and distributed to reflect current programming availabilities, building relationships internally to understand program specials and production pipeline
• Identify and recommend relevant programs each month to clients with the goal of optimizing sales potential.
• Highlight future trends and risks and recommend to line manager possible strategies to capitalize on new opportunities and threats.
• Monitor competitor activities and initiatives that may impact CNBC sales
• Develop relationships by meeting clients face to face, understanding their needs and exploring any new business in order to increase revenue streams
• Negotiate terms and draft commercials for both new and renewal deals, ensuring best possible exposure for CNBC content in line with clients' needs
• Review program rate cards and recommend appropriate pricing structure and volume deal discounts for retention of business.
