Full Time Job
This new position is dedicated to maximizing revenue from advertisers based in the Americas and investing in CNBC products outside of the US. They will focus on a limited group of prioritized clients with the aim of building long-term partnerships. They will build a foundation of recurring business and manage/grow a portfolio of established client partnerships
• Work closely with the CNBC International sales team and the CNBC US sales team to develop and plan the 'Americas into international' ad sales strategy to achieve the assigned revenue targets
• Highly accurate regular forecasting to the Ad Sales SVP in international and US
• Deliver material revenue growth from the Americas markets into CNBC International
• Build a strong network of senior level relationships with clients (CMO/agency head level) in order to; understand their strategic priorities, identify key opportunities to generate additional revenue, prioritize resources and efforts, propose and close business
• Build strong relationships with the CNBC teams both in the US and internationally in order to maximize the conversion rate of client proposals and ensure maximum client retention rate as a result of first-class account management
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
• In-depth, relevant, previous experience, supporting senior-level executives
• A proactive and entrepreneurial attitude, enthusiasm for CNBC's product and a strong work ethic with high standards
• Exceptional communications skills (verbal and written) and strong interpersonal skills
• Proficient with MS Office – Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint
• Ability to successfully multi-task and meet deadlines
• Excellent at problem-solving, taking initiative, and being very resourceful
• Organized work style, ability to work independently with integrity, honesty and flexibility to adapt to a potentially high-growth entrepreneurial environment
• Strong judgment and ability to make well-reasoned independent decisions
• High level of energy and persistence, and understanding of the importance of delivering exceptional customer service to internal and external clients

• Track record of success with, and extensive network of, US/Americas based advertising clients spending into international markets across a broad range of sectors

• Excellent presentation skills and general communication skills that are essential for high level customer meetings – often CMO and even CEO level
• Ability to execute strategic negotiation plans, delivering the best possible result for the business every time
• Naturally externally focused: keep abreast of new developments in the industry, monitoring competitive activity / market intelligence so as to capitalize on all present and future business opportunities
• A business development, consultative, approach to revenue generation
• Thorough understanding of a full-service media sales approach (from a client /or agency /or media owner perspective), i.e. the CNBC international ABCDE (Audience / Brand / Content / Data / Events) product portfolio
• Persistent, competitive, tenacious style with the ability to quickly gain rapport and trust (both with clients and internal stakeholders)
• Ability to work independently as well as a team member
• Comfortable working across multiple cultures and time zones in a matrix organization
• A leading voice and a key player in the market on all issues relating to CNBC International and international advertising in the Americas
