Full Time Job
Looking for a well-rounded designer with strong focus on digital marketing design and social. A great eye and aesthetic and ability to translate key art into a vast array of sizes for digital. We're interested in someone whose work shows a great sense of layout (positive/negative space, type size/alignment, etc.) and stellar Photoshop chops, with a meticulous attention detail. You'll help design, brainstorm, build and execute creative for digital ads and social marketing content. The ideal candidate's experience is rooted in established design principles, and champions digital design best practices. You have both the creative ability and technical skills to build for digital. You create with the user experience in mind and understand that to goal of every piece of creative that is made aims to be engaging and attractive and not just convey tune-in info. You are collaborative and enjoy brainstorming and creative problem solving with the team on a broader 360 campaign level. You can roll with shifting priorities and keep up with ever-changing digital trends. You are a dedicated self-starter and have a strong work ethic and a positive can-do attitude.
Responsibilities:
• Design and execute digital / social portion of creative campaign
• Serve as digital design and production lead in our Marketing Design Group.
• Manage and execute all social and digital asset requests on deadline
• Support CNBC Prime website with design help when needed
• Both contribute to and be accountable for quality of work produced, technical knowledge of interactive media, and overall creative contribution to the department.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
• 4 years of marketing/design experience.
• Strong design aesthetic comprising best practices in digital typography and layout
• A solid understanding of HTML, CSS and web typography. Coding experience is a plus. AE aptitude a plus.
• Software expertise with Adobe Creative Cloud, namely illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
• Ability to create rich media banner ads.
• Ability to animate creative for social
• Clear understanding of mobile and responsive design constraints
• Strong project/time management skills; organized and able to deliver high volume in a fast-paced environment
• Must possess meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to take direction from creative director and other senior creative leads.
• Flexibility in work hours; overtime when needed
• Self-starter and largely self-managed.
