Responsibilities This role will initiate, define, develop and evolve new digital storytelling formats and video-led interactives across CNBC owned and partner platforms for Catalyst commercial clients. Qualifications/Requirements KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the design-related ideation and strategy for the development of cutting-edge digital products and content experiences that will generate maximum net revenue for CNBC Catalyst
• Manage the Interactive Developer and work with external resources (freelance and agency) to design, produce and lead distribution of compelling, innovative, user-centered content experiences from project concept through to execution for the Catalyst commercial clients
• Work with the sales team to pitch conceptual work to clients and agencies
• Work in a collaborative way with Creatives, Researchers and Producers as well as other cross-functional teams in CNBC & NBC Universal – mainly based in Singapore and the USA
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS
• Extensive expertise in digital solution design and a proven track record of launching cutting-edge interactive projects that address business, brand, market and user requirements
• A strong understanding of interface and user experience design best practices for web and mobile
• Knowledge of design tools including Adobe Creative Suite
• Expert in front-end technologies (HTML5, JavaScript, CSS)
• Strong leadership and management skills for both internal and outsourced teams
• Experience working with Developers
• Powerful collaboration and influencing skills
• Excellent project and budget management skills
• Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills
• Passion for emerging technologies and their application to complex problems
• Degree in Graphic Design, Computer Science or Digital Media Design
• Experience in an advertising, marketing, interactive design or other company working on large-scale projects or notable brands preferred
• Dynamic, results-driven, digital native leader
• Strong strategic, analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to operate effectively under pressure of deadlines
• Ability to adapt quickly to change in business requirements & technology
• Open, communicative, with a positive attitude
