Full Time Job
The Commercial Traffic Executive is responsible for the booking and scheduling of Commercials and Sponsorship campaigns booked to CNBC's broadcast schedule. They are part of the sales team as an important functional part of the sales execution. They will work closely with the Traffic Manager to create a streamlined strategy to the traffic function, and will lead the Commercial Traffic Assistant to provide exceptional client service to the advertising sales team on a daily basis, as well as partner networks across CNBC International in EMEA.
The ideal candidate would be someone who has Television Traffic experience, has excellent attention to detail, the ability to multi-task whilst working to strict deadlines, who excels at troubleshooting problems. Experience in campaign management is a must, and traffic related issues such as creative delivery, commercial clearance, contract reporting and technical file knowledge are required. The candidate must possess a positive and client focused attitude with strong administrational skills. A hardworking and determined individual would be well suited for this exciting new position.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for leading all traffic functions such as commercial booking, log scheduling, creative delivery and contract reporting.
Form and maintain strong relationships between the Traffic and Global Sales departments.
Liaison with colleagues in Traffic and Global Sales team for all traffic related issues.
Preparing and finalizing the daily commercial transmission logs for broadcasting.
Preparation of campaign booking summaries, reports and actual broadcast schedules.
Liaison with any affiliates on their domestic regulations and approval on commercials for CNBC Asia Pacific.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Diploma and/or university degree or equivalent experience
Previous Traffic experience within an international media, or preferably news, organisation.
Good planning skills and the ability to anticipate problems & develop a plan of action to streamline the workflow.
Capable of handling short deadlines and work in a fast-paced pressurised environment
Excellent administrational skills and attention to detail to provide exceptional client service.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong computer proficiency.
Positive working attitude and a willingness to work and develop.

Fluency in English
