The Commercial Operations Manager EMEA is a key sales operations leadership role. The role partners with the VP Sales EMEA to evolve CNBCs commercial offer in the region and to implement campaigns sold. The role provides support to the Sales Leaders in US and APAC helping them to develop commercial packages and sales opportunities for them to sell outside of their regions, in EMEA.
The role holds responsibility for supporting the sales team in the delivery of global advertising campaigns, on CNBCs TV, Digital, and Mobile platforms.
The Commercial Operations Manager will report to the VP Sales EMEA, and will work with the sales management team across functions to implement best group sales practices, and to develop and deliver CNBCs commercial offer in the region. Working with one direct report; a Sales Coordinator, the? Commercial Operations Manager will ensure that TV traffic, and digital implementation teams execute campaigns sold by the sales team, and will provide on-going campaign delivery support.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop rate cards, and pricing with VP Sales and Research team for CNBC International advertising packages on TV and Digital platforms.
Evaluate sales data and insight on product monetisation, and use this to work with VP of Sales EMEA, Head of Creative Solutions and other key stakeholders to evolve TV and digital commercial opportunities to meet changing customer needs.
Ensure smooth running of activity working with London, New York and Singapore operations teams, and affiliate channel teams in regions to deliver booked advertising campaigns.
Book and deliver advertising campaigns on TV and Digital platforms in the region, with the support of a Sales Coordinator
Understand new and existing products and multiplatform advertising opportunities, share this intelligence with all key stakeholders globally including but not limited to the EMEA, APAC and US Sales teams.
Design and update media planning and campaign booking tools and processes with sales leadership team for use by the sales team
Build media plans for US and APAC based sales teams for CNBC EMEA platforms with support of Sales Coordinator.
Approve media plans and check pricing in advance of proposals going to clients to ensure best practices
Produce case studies of campaigns across regions, required by the sales team to maximise knowledge sharing across poles.
Design and deliver training to the sales team to share best practice and upskill the team on products and campaign planning and delivery.
Provide materials on CNBC advertising offers, products and sales opportunities to the marketing team required to produce sales support collateral such as media packs and presentations.
Attend Deal Review meetings, where Creative Solutions that have been sold to advertisers are approved by multiple departments, and provide details required for the contract related to the products sold.

REQUIREMENTS
Language skills would be preferred, but not necessary, due to international nature of the role (French & German in particular).
