CNBC's Strategic Content group works across all platforms at CNBC with a focus on liaising between Sales and Editorial teams, creating unique custom opportunities for advertisers, and building differentiated content around key content pillars - such as entrepreneurship, personal finance, and technology, for CNBC.
We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate, strategy-oriented individual to support CNBC's editorial efforts tied to strategic partnerships with best-in-class predictive analytics firms as well as innovative storytelling platforms. This role will help manage the rollout of a growing roster of editorial, technology and event partnerships. He/she will be responsible for working directly with CNBC's strategy and editorial teams to create and implement ongoing internal awareness and adoption of partner products. This role will be responsible for developing comprehensive multiplatform editorial packages, many of which will be included in advertiser solutions pitched by the ad-sales team
- Manage day-to-day RFP response flow to Ad Sales Marketing
- Conduct research to fuel short term story generation and longer-cycle editorial projects
- Create project workflow, rollout, and execution plans for strategic event and content partnerships
- Attend weekly editorial meetings to pitch ideas and events from Strategic Content
- Create PPT presentations to support partnerships
- Create and run Excel models to assist in data-driven editorial content
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
• 3 years experience in a marketing, research, strategy, consulting, or business development role preferred; past experience in Television/media a plus.
• Experience developing/launching new products or initiatives at previous employers
• Good left / right brain balance – strong analytical skills coupled with strong communications skills and lots of creativity
• Demonstrated track record of creating operationally efficient processes as well as leading successful cross-functional team projects
• Undergraduate degree a must, graduate degree preferred but not required
• Work effectively across teams and motivate others
• Thrive in a fast-paced startup-like environment within CNBC
• Proficiency in Excel and PPT
• Strong communication and pitching skills
• Creative approach to solving problems with uncommon solutions
• Curiosity about data and its impact on the world
• Optimistic, can-do attitude
