Responsibilities Role Summary:
The Account Director will be responsible for the delivery of individual advertising sales revenue target for CNBC and CNBC.com. He/she will demonstrate teamwork not only contributing to the team revenue target by hitting their own but also collecting and sharing market intelligence, creative ideas and knowledge with team peers.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Set a high bar in excellence, innovation, and service in the region
• To meet specified quarterly / annual TV and Online revenue goals in Hong Kong & Macau.
• To generate new client revenues and maximise client retention for CNBC and CNBC.com.
• To work with the in house Catalyst team to ensure that you are proposing the ''best possible solution'' to the client's brief that is targeted, bespoke and demonstrates a clear understanding of the clients business and advertising/communication needs.
• Source for new clients and develop new advertising categories
• To act as supplementary digital support sharing digital knowledge, support and creative ideas with the team across the Greater China and Philippines region.
• Develop and implement the necessary account strategies needed to achieve the sales targets
• Develop and manage agency relationships such that CNBC are top of mind and on the consideration set for all suitable brands
• Develop and sell creative solutions across TV, digital and events that stand out from the competition.
• To manage and limit cost of sale expenditure in client packages.
• To undertake accurate and timely reporting as required for CNBC Management. Qualifications/Requirements Qualifications/Requirements:
• 7 years of media sales experience,
• Results oriented
• Experience of working on digital with a good knowledge and understanding of digital sales.
• Experience managing accounts and delivering strong year on year growth in sales and margin.
• Ability to demonstrate previous examples of outstanding creativity that won the campaign.
• Strong understanding of branded content across TV & digital.
• Excellent presentation skills in both creation and presentation
• Knowledge of English required. Ideal to be competent in both Cantonese and Mandarin
• High proficiency in MS Office Suite
