The Account Director will drive multiplatform advertising revenue generation, business development, and account planning efforts of the UK-based sales team predominantly for French markets.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES
Account Management:
Responsible for the management & service of specific clients & agencies within region.
To sell TV, digital, and events solutions to international advertisers across CNBC platforms.
Build the trust of our clients through clear direction, honesty and integrity
Support the VP Sales EMEA in securing preferred status with clients & agencies, and adding value to their business
To meet revenue targets as outlined by VP Sales EMEA, to increase yield and share on returning accounts and build new business
Proactively build new business as a dedicated Account Director for a European country / region outside of the UK
Make sure that all projects undertaken are transitioned into and managed effectively. Delivered on time, on brief and on budget.
To become the expert on customers' business and marketing requirements, and by doing so meet their needs with the most relevant solutions from CNBC.
To work closely with team members, to provide seamless solutions and a cohesive multi-media effort maximizing returns for CNBC.
To provide the most professional and proficient service to our clients and be regarded as part of the best Sales team in the market
To design and produce sales and sponsorship presentations and proposals.
To produce client research to compel brands to buy CNBC advertising solutions.
Team Management:
Leading, managing and developing an account executive.
Responsible for recrutiiting new team members, as and when nececssary.
REQUIREMENTS
Significant experience in professional client and agency relationship management
Professionalism in both work ethic and attitude essential
Demonstrated history of building and maintaining relationships
An international mind-set with desire to work in a global organisation
Ability to prioritise workload, work under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent project management and presentation skills
Effective team management capabilities
Proactive, innovator, who employs originality to drive revenue growth
Keen sales generator and skilled negotiator
Flexibility and willingness to attend hospitality events, whether it may be during the day, evenings and/or sometimes during the weekend ensuring that we continue to build strong client and agency relationships and create opportunities.
Occasional travel is required for client visits, new business presentations, planning and brief taking.
Previous experience of French markets advantageous.
