Details: CMH Label Group is a 35 year old independent record label located in the Silverlake area of Los Angeles. Among the music we are known for: Rockabye Baby (lullaby renditions of rock songs), Vitamin String Quartet, the Pickin’ On Series and our large catalog of classic bluegrass music. We are seeking an intern in the Music Licensing department for the spring semester. Duties include:

• Filing and data entry.
• Assisting with obtaining mechanical licenses.
• Writing publishing credit.
• Helping with various licensing/royalty related projects.
• Assisting with synch licensing for film and television.
• Occasional mail room work.

The candidate should have a general knowledge of copyright law, mechanical licensing, mechanical royalties, performing rights organizations, and the Harry Fox Agency. The candidate must be available for at least 12 hours a week, M-F 9:30 A.M to 6:30 P.M. This internship is for college credit only. You MUST be able to provide proof of college credit.
