Full Time Unpaid Internship
The intern will work with both Production and the Business and Legal Affairs departments to
organize and track all third party clips, images and music used in CBS Sports Network programming. The intern will participate in clip acquisition, reviewing programming and research, including research for CBS Sports Network's writers and producers for different guests or segments. This internship is best suited for students interested in entertainment law and the logistics
of creating programming. This position will receive a behind the scenes look at the process of putting together CBS Sports Network, the 24 hour home of CBS Sports.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate student registered in school in their junior or senior year.
• Position available from late May to August.
• Applicants are expected to work a total of 6-7 hours per day.
• Applicant must have a GPA of 3.0 or above in their major courses.
• Submission
of application, resume, 2 letters of recommendations, transcript and essay are required; application will be sent to eligible students.
• Applicant must be authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred:
• Possess excellent computer skills (Word, Excel and Outlook preferred) and strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage time and prioritize work in a constantly changing environment
• Reliable, flexible, detail-oriented, capable of anticipating department/business needs, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to handle confidential matters discreetly and exercise good judgment
