Full Time Unpaid Internship
The Summer 2015 Audience Development Intern will be charged with growing our Business and Information Technology web sites' (ZDNet, TechRepublic, Tech Pro Research) user base through registrations, audience acquisition programs, and driving deeper engagement through targeted offers and incentives. Candidates must be detail-oriented, at ease with Web-metrics reporting, and great communicators; this position will work with product, editorial, partners, engineering, social media, business intelligence, and more.
Duties/Role Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day operations of our registration initiatives and make recommendations for an improved product experience
• Conceptualize and execute a membership driving sweepstakes
• Analyze our email nurturing campaigns and optimize engagement
• Research and source targeted databases to support acquisition activity
• Provide performance reporting and benchmarking on a regular basis
Qualifications:
• Proven leadership skills
• Combination of education and experience in marketing and/or project management
• Comfortable communicating both with external partners and internal departments
• Experienced customer service skills and a can-do attitude
• Must possess outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Quantitative/statistical experience
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word, experience with Google Apps is a plus
• Intern candidates must be currently enrolled in college/university with at least one semester to go after completion of the internship
• Must successfully complete background check
