CBS Interactive is looking for an experienced director to join the Content & Product Strategy Team. The director will work closely with network and studio executives to (i) set the medium-to-long term interactive support plan for assigned CBS TV Network and CBS TV Studio content and to (ii) develop and produce assigned show extensions/extractions for exploitation in digital distribution. The director will also manage and support the communication of interactive content/product performance, sales programs and general high-level requests for each assigned show.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead cross-functional idea generation for show specific digital extensions and extractions
- Partner with product/engineering, current/development, marketing, sales and publicity to assess and implement show support and sales initiatives
- Oversee execution of show specific video, web and gaming extensions produced out-of-house
- Develop a deep understanding of audience and user behavior/preferences as it pertains to assigned shows
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years experience in combination of content development, site production and account management; all/any preferably in an digital media environment
- Working knowledge of online and mobile
- Deep understanding of network television programming business and processes
- Ability to manage filmed entertainment productions both internal/external
- Experience presenting and communicating with senior executives and external partners
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (listening, oral, written, presentation) skills
- Strong Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Bachelor’s Degree required
