Full Time Unpaid Internship
Interns can expect to gain a diverse learning experience as they assist Publicity and Promotions Teams in both day-to-day tasks and long-term projects. Film publicity focuses on reaching film audiences in a way that compliments the other strategic marketing surrounding a film. We utilize our talent and the film messaging to reach audiences through press coverage of talent bookings, press junkets, publicity stunts, film premieres, etc.
RESPONSIBILITES:
Promotions:
Assist with research and brainstorming of brands, programs and potential partnerships, including script breakdowns Conduct analysis of studio national partnerships and their usage in promoting movies across all mediums Aid in creation of pitching materials for potential partners Upkeep of partner/brand database Research trends in partnership and promotions, including competitive programs Publicity: Assist intracking breaks pertaining to films, as well as trends/updates within the industry Creative brainstorming and input on how to obtain various publicity for films Online research pertaining, but not limited to the following: Regional and National events, conventions, competitions Filing and archival of publications for records Overall Departmental Support: Help provide administrative support for Publicity and Promotions Teams Filing, archiving and copying Assist in covering phones when necessaryNational Partnerships identifies, pitches, and secures national partners to cross-promote CBS Films' properties across television, print, online and social mediums.
Required Qualifications:
Experience with Filemaker Pro is helpful Proficiency with Excel is a must Some business/marketing experience at a studio is helpful but not requiredTo be eligible for this opportunity you must be a current student enrolled in a regionally accredited college or university, and you must be able to provide verification for your internship opportunity.
