Full Time Paid Internship
The Product Design Intern for this project will work closely with product design team responsible for the overall user experience of the CBSSports.com website. This includes our live GameTrackers, scoreboards, standings, stats, team profiles, player profiles, injuries, other data-driven pages. The intern will help define user flows, interaction design, and possibly visual designs necessary for the engineers on the team to build and create amazing experiences for our users. In addition, they will use data, A/B testing, and user research to guide priorities and product decisions.
Role Responsibilities:
Develop concepts and communicate ideas
Collaborate with product teams, strategists, developers and internal clients to create digital product designs that meet business goals
Create different levels of design documentation, including: sketches, user flows, wireframes, and final visual design deliverables along with user interaction specifications
Articulate the rationale of design from both a user-centered focus and business perspective to both internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications:
Strong visual and interaction design skills
Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Sketch 3
Experience in designing responsive web initiatives using pattern design fundamentals that can scale from desktop to mobile
An online portfolio that demonstrates a passion for great design and shows stylistic breath, attention to detail, and usability
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
Strong organization skills and attention to detail
Ability to work and adapt in a fast paced environment
Sports fan preferred
Additional Requirements:
- You must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
- Must be at least 18 years old
