Full Time Paid Internship
This Marketing Intern will have the privilege of joining a dynamic team of marketers who work across both CBS Digital Media groups and CNET Media Groups. S/he will not have a singular project to focus on but will be integral in assisting the team with a robust schedule of experiential brand activations and brand marketing strategies. This opportunity to exercise creativity provides a variety of options for the intern project. During the summer timeline, there are existing projects the intern can build off of (i.e. E3, Cannes Lions, CNET Summer Festivals, CNET Campus Reps), where the intern will have the ability to look at a brand's strategy, and help execute the goals through tactics within an event (i.e. social media campaigns, working with production vendors and partners, building contracts, defining key performance indicators, measuring engagement, integrating sponsors, etc.)
Logistics:
• Time commitment: full-time, 40 hours per week during our regular office hours (Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm) but times may vary per team
• This is a paid internship and can also be for university credit if it meets your university's guidelines
Qualifications:
The Marketing Intern should be interested in marketing and/or events, creativity based projects, have a disciplined work ethic, and value teamwork. The intern will work closely with his/her manager to sculpt their project in order to support the brand that aligns the most with their skills and interests. The intern must also be skilled in multi-tasking and attention to detail, as the marketing team has a fast paced work environment.
Additional Requirements:
• Intern must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
• Must be at least 18 years old
