Digital Content Manager
General Job Description:
CBS-58, WMLW and Telemundo Wisconsin seeks a Digital Content Manager to post digital and social media content for our news department. This position will be responsible for writing stories from press releases or from reporter information at breaking news scenes, creating slideshows, video streaming, posting to social media and participating in big event coverage. This person must make sure the content posters follow the station style guide, as well as watch feeds and other newsgathering sources for items of importance. The candidate must be familiar with using analytics and digital strategy to plan and place content on web and social media platforms
Duties/Responsibilities:

Requirements:
Must be flexible with schedule as we cover big events.
Must have previous digital content experience, preferably for a professional news gathering organization; effectively achieve short and long term deadlines; have strong people skills; and excellent verbal, writing and editing skills.
Bachelor's degree in broadcast or multi-media journalism is preferred.
