Scanning Clerk
Purpose: The main task of a scanning clerk is to produce digital copies of documents for retention purposes. The scanned copies of the documents need to be legible, otherwise they're of no use. So the scanning clerk manning the scanner needs to make any adjustments necessary for clean scans.
Responsibilities
• Effective use of interpersonal and communications skills including tact and diplomacy.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and follow through.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and quality controls in relation to electronic imaging.
• Prior experience scanning documents with high speed scanner and software is preferred but not mandatory. Additional training will be provided. Will understand the basic payroll process to better support the operations.
• Responsible for protecting the business and our clients by keeping information confidential and secure.
• Performing any additional tasks deemed necessary by supervisor
Requirements:
• Experience using computers, high speed scanners and scanning documents
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective, clear communication skills
• Positive, nurturing attitude/disposition
• Strong organizational and prioritizing skills
• Ability to work effectively with a team
• Ability to meeting strict deadlines
• Strong working knowledge of PC systems, not limited to Microsoft Office
• Quick learning ability and deep understanding of technical products/systems
• Ability to develop strong working relationships and ability to work with personnel from all levels of organization
• Self-motivated, critically-thinking, problem-solving
Required education:
• High school or equivalent
