BuzzFeed Video is building a brand new design team to help take BuzzFeed's video content to the next level and experiment with graphics, illustration and ultra-short-form content for a variety of social platforms. This is a highly collaborative environment, involving shoulder-to-shoulder work with video producers, designers, illustrators and animators. Requirements
3-5 years of experience creating a diverse body of visual work for clients as part of a larger team.
A passion for good design. You believe good design makes people's lives more enjoyable.
A passion for sharing your knowledge with others in a clear, patient, concise way.
Proven ability to create compelling, shareable design, illustrations and/or videos.
Ability to work in small teams as well as go off on your own.
A positive, curious, playful disposition (no haters).
An open mind and a passion for testing and learning (no know-it-alls).
Your outside interests drive the work you create.

Expert motion graphics/animation experience.
A growing online following that has shown their approval (or disapproval) of your work.
An interest in teaching workshops/classes for non-designers about design.
