Details: SUMMARY OF POSITION

Warner Bros. Worldwide Television Marketing seeks a Vice President, Communications Operations & Strategy for the Communications & Publicity department. Working with Senior Vice President, Worldwide Television Communications, this individual will oversee day-to-day trade publicity for the domestic and international television distribution units as well as utilize enterprise reporting tools to publish and present standard reports on performance against standard publicity plan metrics, including publicity program responses, and key metrics.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Day to day trade publicity for domestic and international television distribution, including writing press releases, pitching stories and coordinating executive interviews.

Maintain targeted media lists of journalists.

Collaborate with Audience Development on Social Media strategy and tactics for domestic and international communication.

Oversee all PR analytics from data collection to analysis: systems include Vocus, Google Analytics, Twitter Monitoring Services, Nielsen Ratings and more.

Present data that can be used by the Communications team to formulate publicity plans as well as provide clear benchmarks for success for all campaigns based on industry and real time data; responsible for developing standard earned media performance reports/dashboard(s) for the team and executives.

Prepare sound business projections and forecasts to evaluate potential impact of existing campaigns as well as new publicity initiatives.

Serve as a departmental resource for market intelligence and competitive analysis; have familiarity with key sources of primary and secondary research, and the appropriate uses. Recommend, acquire, and interpret research as needed to support brand(s) and department growth.

Identify new areas for communications ROI as well as develop/maintain records of performance on all PR and social media platforms to assist in determining ROI, lifetime user value and budgets for all communications projects/department needs.

Oversee department workflow and timelines eg dept status reports, project status reports and staffing needs & tracking eg Angel City, overall resources tracking, Awards Submissions and other projects, as assigned.

Oversee the development of any technical support materials or digital applications for the use in communications strategy development and campaigns.

Oversee development of strategy as it pertains to the integration of publicity, marketing and social media for all domestic, international and current programming.

Manage all department finances including budgets, billing and invoicing and department P&L projections.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

College degree or equivalent work experience required.

Minimum 7 years experience in Publicity for an agency, network or studio.

Previous experience in television publicity preferred.

Comprehensive knowledge of entertainment industry required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet required.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills required.

Must be well organized.

Must have the ability to work additional hours as needed.

Must possess exemplary organizational skills.

Must possess excellent listening and interpersonal skills.

Must be able to consistently come into work early and/or stay late.

Must be able to travel and excel in working live events or events not in a traditional office environment.

Must be able to maintain a cheerful disposition in a fast-paced environment and during stressful times.

Must be able to review and comprehend detailed documents.

Must be detail-oriented.

Must have good judgment.

Must be able and willing to take initiative and to problem solve as appropriate within the scope of responsibilities of this position.
