Bunim/Murray Productions, producer’s of MTV's “The Real World,” E!'s, “Keeping up with the Kardashians,” Lifetime’s “Project Runway,” and much more is seeking an experienced Production Accountant. The Production Accountant must be able to work as a Miami local. The Production Accountant reports to the Director of Production Finance and works closely with the Line Producer, Executive Producer and the Executive In-Charge of Production.
The Production Accountant will be responsible for the following duties:
• Weekly cost reports
• Coding and approval of payroll for cast and crew
• Accounts payable
• Tracking cost and payments for payroll and A/P
• Daily petty cash disbursements and reconciliation
• Journal entries
• Trail Balance account maintenance and reconciliation
A Bachelors Degree is required. Candidates must have at least 2 years of production accounting experience in television or features. The ideal candidate will be proficient with Vista, Excel and Microsoft Word. Candidates should also have the following requirements:
• Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to thrive in a team environment
• Ability to multi-task.
