Graphics Coordinator

Overview: Award-winning Theatrical Marketing Company seeks a motivated, experienced and talented Graphics Coordinator for our growing graphics department. Position available is full time. We offer 100% paid medical and dental benefits as well as paid vacation and sick time.
Job Description: This position will primarily focus on a coordinating role for the graphics department. Candidate should have experience and interest in digital post-production, finishing, editing, and graphic design. Experience with 3D/2D visual effects, and feature film/game marketing in general a plus. Requires an eye for detail, the ability to delegate and oversee the creative process, and excellent communication between various players in the finishing process. A/V Trailer and television post experience preferred.
Skills Required
• Detail oriented, must recheck and confirm all deliveries for accuracy and errors (spelling, style, color, resolution, file format, length)
• Experience/willingness to learn graphics post delivery specs and nomenclature
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially over phone and email with clients and outside vendors
• Ability to adapt schedule/expectations in fast-paced, unpredictable environment
• Capacity to remain patient and positive with clients and in-house staff at all times
Primary Responsibilities
• Facilitate handoff of finishes from Producer
• Check in with staff and provide written and verbal updates to team
• Wait for 'all clear' to leave and know when to send artists home for the evening
• Liaise between post facilities, studio clients, Evening Production Coordinator and Evening Finishing Artist
• Send out 'PM' and 'EOD' email to team with status updates of work completed
• Handle all phone calls, emails, and FTP postings for finishes
• Route requests and coordinate with in-house finishing department
• Serve as coordinator for offline requests from in-house producers
Secondary Responsibilities
• Check-in with in-house producers for evening needs, request artists to stay and order dinner as needed, update Art Directors & Daytime Coordinator daily
• Assist with Design Spots Sent and Finishing Spots Sent from previous day
• Assist with holding, booking, and confirming freelancers
• Checking in with staff on weekly schedules, log on calendar, and email weekly
• Update white board weekly with artists names and assignment
• Familiarity with After Effects software
