Elite NY-based talent management company representing clients in film, television, theatre, and music is looking for a highly-organized and detail oriented assistant with a strong passion for the entertainment industry and a particular interest in talent management. The assistant will work on an extremely high-volume desk with great exposure to all areas of the entertainment industry. Ideal candidate has experience in a management company, agency, or PR firm. Position starts immediately.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
• Detailed scheduling and travel coordination for President, including:
---- Booking travel and creating itineraries for festivals, events, and premieres
---- Setting, organizing, and coordinating meetings with talent and executives
---- Liaising between President and all outside parties, including clients, producers, agents, production staff, publicists, etc.
• Maintaining highly detailed and accurate calendar for President and clients; daily awareness of all relevant client activities
• Rolling calls and maintaining phone sheet and call list; must have excellent phone demeanor and be able to manage high call-volumes
• Interacting with clients regarding press, openings, general scheduling, etc.
• Light bookkeeping, coordination of contracts, and general office management
