Broadway in Boston Guest Services Representative
Part Time, Non-Exempt
Location: Boston, MA
Reports to: Theatre Manager, Associate Theatre Manager, Operations and Patron Services Manager
Broadway in Boston is looking for several fantastic people to join their Guest Services team. These team members will assist in both the Charles Playhouse and the Broadway in Boston offices. As the first point of contact for our patrons, individuals in this role are an important part of the day-to-day activities of the company. Candidates should have experience providing exceptional customer service, have the ability to communicate to patrons in a professional manner, and have the skills to assist in coordinating daily operations of both offices. We are currently seeking to fill weekday daytime shifts, but weekends and evening availability is a plus!
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answering all incoming calls and maintain automated attendant system.
- Responding to email inquiries in an efficient and timely manner.
- Serve as office support staff as needed.
- Assist the Operations and Patron Services Manager with Opening Night preparations for touring productions.
- Assist the Charles Playhouse Theatre Management team to ensure that all information is prepared and distributed for Blue Man Group performances.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to work independently as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Weekday day time availability
- A background in customer service is strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills; phone, email and in person.
- Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with others.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Possess creative problem solving skills.
- Ability to work weekday day shifts (example:10am-2pm or 12pm-4pm)
