SEM Manager Job Description:
TMD is looking for an SEM Manager to join their team. The SEM Manager will report to the Director of Interactive Services and assist the Broadway Across America local markets in SEM, Google Display Network, and YouTube campaign implementation. Applicants should excel in planning, building, and managing search engine marketing campaigns; analyzing data and making optimization recommendations based on this data; as well as consulting on SEO best practices. Candidates must be a good and concise communicator, organized, and detail-oriented. Regular reporting and market communication is a large part of the job.
Daily Responsibilities:
• Plan, implement, and manage Search, Display and YouTube campaigns
• Analyze campaign data, offer insights into campaign performance, and make effective optimizations
• Produce regular campaign reports based on a comprehensive analysis of analytics and other proprietary data
• Assist in the planning of search engine optimization projects, including website audits, website content recommendations, keyword research and link building strategies
• Stay up-to-date with SEO best practices
• Continually research and learn emerging media technologies, as well as integrate them into client campaigns
• Communicate with local marketing teams from across the country regularly to present and/or discuss campaign performance
• Work with the marketing and digital teams on strategy to create one cohesive marketing plan
• Assist in set up of other digital campaigns on an occasional basis
Requirements:
• 2-3 years of experience using AdWords and Analytics
• Strong search engine optimization and marketing skills
• Ability to implement SEO recommendations strongly preferred
• Strong client communication skills, strategic thinking, and presentation skills
• Ability to translate information for internal teams and clients
• Strong experience with Google AdWords, Bing/Yahoo, and Google Analytics platforms
• Detailed-oriented with excellent organization, project/time management, and problem-solving skills
• Experience using Sizmek or Doubleclick
• High proficiency in Excel
• Ability to work independently as well as on a team
• Familiarity with HTML and content management systems for SEO purposes a plus
• Google AdWords certified a big plus
• Knowledge of the Google Grant a plus
