Broadcast Educators is seeking a talented and experienced broadcast professional to conduct on-site systems testing and training for client engagements in Washington D.C. The successful candidate will receive training on a variety of cutting-edge broadcast technologies while working alongside other Broadcast Educators staff.
The primary responsibilities will be to create and execute test plans, perform user-acceptance testing, create documentation and tutorials, and train end-users on a new media asset management system.
Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience across a variety of modern broadcast systems, preferably in a news environment, as an operator or engineer using file-based workflows and media asset management systems.
Candidate must have excellent public speaking and writing abilities.
Qualifications:
- Must have working knowledge of tapeless and less-tape workflows.
- Must have experience in broadcast facilities, preferably newsrooms and/or production control rooms.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and judgement.
- Must be able to troubleshoot and problem solve procedural questions based on real-world experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or greater required.
