Principles Training Team Media Assistant
Position Summary:
The ideal Media Assistant candidate will work side-by-side with our Creative Media Producer to create an amazing training experience for our employees. The primary focus of this position is on video recording interviews, meetings, events and live training sessions and processing and editing audio and video files. The ideal candidate will have a background in audio/visual production and editing, proficiency in tools (such as Adobe, Final Cut Pro and Sony Sound Forge), a passion for interacting with audio/visual technology and the energy to creativity to put towards working with the production team. The Media Assistant will be part of a small media and production team. Therefore it is essential that the candidate is committed to teamwork and collaboration, and is willing to roll up his or her sleeves and have a positive ''can do'' attitude.
Responsibilities would include:
• Supporting the entire media process, including digitizing, editing, and splicing multiple sources of audio and video, as well as preparing media files for final consumption in PCS playback, streaming media, DC/DVD, and MP3/MP4 formats
• Video recording of interviews and company events
• Archiving of video and audio
• Assisting the Creative Media Specialist on shoots, and lighting and some editing work a must
• Must have strong oral communication skills
• Able to work in a cross functional work environment and deal with high levels of ambiguity
• Strong knowledge and keen interest in emerging tools and technologies in the industry
• Gathering and incorporating employee
Position Requirements:
• Previous audio/visual production and post-production experience with a proven successful track record
• Computer savvy individual who is able to integrate different computer and size formats into a single media file with in a fast turnaround time
• Exposure to, and interest in, video compositing and sound editing software such as Adobe, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Sony Sound Forge, Camtasia Studio programs
• Past experience operating DV and HDV video cameras
• Exposure to and interest in Audio/Visual Technology
• Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
• Strong analytic and decision making abilities
• Must be a team player and able to work with and through others
• Ability to hold yourself and others accountable and move toward a common goal
Preferred candidates would also meet the following criteria:
• College Degree
• Past experience with Final Cut Studio, After Effects, Sony sound Forge and Camtasia Studio programs
• Exposure and interaction with eLearning Technology such as custom coding (interactive Flash) content authoring software, rapid eLearning tools and practices, virtual training environments, and familiarity with industry standards
