Research Intern needed in busy theatrical talent agency for pilot season. Learn about the TV industry by tracking pilots online using trades, social media, and networking to update agent call sheets with actor offers, castings, and updated role specs. Upon successful completion of internship, you will receive an exit interview, and a letter of recommendation to use moving forward in your career. Lunch and a gas stipend provided.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Computer skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Interest in learning Television/Film/Theatre in a talent agency forum.
INCENTIVES:
The BBR Theatrical/Legit Internship Program provides exploration of the theatrical agency environment, teaching the mandatory skills needed to apply for a paid, entry-level assistant position with an agency. Upon successful completion of the program, interns will receive an exit interview and a letter of recommendation to assist in procuring employment.
Additional incentives include gas assistance (if weekly hours are met), opportunities to accompany agents to cover client shows and/or scout professional theatre, fun agency outings (bowling, karaoke, etc.), and possible school credit if applicable.
DUTIES:
• Work directly with staff to learn about Theatrical Talent Representation
• Build relationships with manager assistants and casting assistants
• Learn how to use Breakdown Services, IMDB, and other programs
• Learn technical phone skills and theatrical phone etiquette
• Learn how to submit talent for projects and facilitate auditions
• Research Projects in TV/Film/Theatre
• Update Theatrical Grids
• Communicate directly with talent
