We are recruiting now for a new Quality Control team to regularly review a range of new and continuing China-focused, English-language television shows of varying lengths and styles. Uniquely working from the convenience of your current location, video content and associated questionnaires that you will need to complete will be made available to you via your allocated private administrative account login on our international content management workflow portal, BON Cloud.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Ultimately reporting to the Director of Quality Review, you will be responsible for watching a variety of video content from end-to-end and giving your feedback, whether quantitative (with a number-based score), or qualitative (where we ask you to give your opinion by answering a series of questions immediately after you have watched a video). Pieces will vary in length, emphasis, style and genre.
We produce and broadcast a wide range of Features and News video content. All video content you will review is geared for international television broadcast on a day-to-day basis, whether via cable, satellite, On Demand, or live streaming via handheld devices.
QUALIFICATIONS
For this role you must have fluent written English, be between the age of 18 and 65. You will also be expected to have a strong interest in China with an emphasis on one or more of the following areas: business, news and information, culture, health/lifestyles, tourism, and technology.
Your writing skills should be strong, since you will need to express your opinions clearly and in detail.
Naturally since this is an internet-based role, your ability to work unaided, to self-critique and complete your review work to a high standard without direct supervision will be essential to this role.
