Digital marketing department at screenwriting competition seeking social media interns. This role will be for 15-20 hrs/week until the end of June. Remote applicants welcome.

Intern Requirements:
- Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program and be able to get school credit for this internship
- Must have an interest in social media, public relations and/or marketing
- Ideally, you have experience creating social/digital content for an organization, company, blog/media or brand
- Basic photo & video editing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication; strong attention to detail
- Assist with planning, implementing, and analyzing content releases and schedules across multiple channels/platforms
- Knowledge of building a subscriber base a plus
- Must have superior written and verbal communication skills
- Must be familiar with Google Drive and Microsoft Office
- Must be familiar with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and similar platforms
- Must be familiar with monitor discussions, posts, and comments across multiple social channels and assist with comment moderation
- If selected, the intern must be prepared to complete internship
Internship Duties
- Social engagement and community growth
- Assist in creating and posting multiple social posts daily
- Assist in creation and deployment of newsletters/email blasts using Constant Contacts
Pay
This is an unpaid internship. We are looking for at least two full days (or three/four half days), but internship schedule is flexible. Must be eligible for school credit - no exceptions.
